About

Miss Quincy is an award winning artist with 3 albums, an EP and recent single release. Touring extensively nationally and internationally with The Showdown, her blues/rock ’n’ roll trio, she also sings with Canadian bands The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer and Digging Roots

You can hear the echo of road-savvy bar room blues in Miss Quincy & The Showdown’s sound. Her well-crafted songs showcase powerhouse vocals, expansive harmonies, and sit comfortably in that timeless space between vintage soul and cutting-edge pop. Late nights, badass grooves and festival stages. This is not your Dad’s blues.

Miss Quincy & The Showdown’s gritty grooves have been a Canadian Festival mainstay over the years, with recent headline shows at Dawson City Music Festival, Wild Mountain Music Festival & South Country Fair. Miss Quincy was a finalist in the BC PEAK Performance project, has had her music placed in CTV and Netflix series as well as the VIFF feature film Once Upon a Winter. Miss Quincy's recent music video received an Award of Excellence from the Canada International Film Festival and she was awarded the grand prize from the PLRAC songwriting competition.

Whether she's laying down a venomous lick on "Bad Love", as drums pound like a hangover, or promising that "this one's gonna hurt" on the torch song "Damn You", her six-string slinging and controlled voice seem effortless.
