JVMIE’s incredibly versatile voice is just as at home on her latest emotive releases as belting out a dance anthem. Jamie Lee Wilson born & raised on Australia’s Gold Coast, started singing at age 7. Covid forced a return from LA to her hometown, but it didn’t slow the songstress down.
JVMIE was commissioned to write a song for the Tokyo Olympics, Samsung and Optus; “I Believe” was recorded by Australian chart toppers, Sheppard in a world first musical event. A contender for Musician of The Year and Video Of The Year in the Gold Coast Music Awards, JVMIE has topped the US Billboard Club Charts, the Australia Aria Club Charts and been featured on Apple Music and iTunes. 2 of her songs feature on Genix's "199X" album released on Anjunabeats, which hit #3 on iTunes UK Dance Albums Chart and #6 in the US. JVMIE featured in the SOLD OUT Ministry of Sound Classical show at HOTA live with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Jamie completed a Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz Voice at the Conservatorium of Music all the while honing her song-writing craft. Spreading her wings to London a friend introduced her to the dance scene. Performing extensively throughout Europe her track “Fuel to the Fire” with Dutch producer Jesse Voorn featured on Grammy Award Winning producer Dave Audé’s radio show & a month later she was in his studio in LA recording what would become their US Billboard Club Chart #2 smash “Back 2 Love”.
Having worked with dance legends The Chainsmokers, Bob Sinclar, Todd “The God” Terry, Joachim Garraud, Stonebridge & Ron Carroll Jamie decided to start a new down-tempo project under the moniker of JVMIE. She brought the world famous Buzz Charts to tears and featured in US DJ Mag with her cover of Massive Attack’s “Teardrop”.

On her return from LA she was awarded a Rage Against The Virus Grant from HOTA to create an album during hotel quarantine. Collaborating remotely with LA based, French film composer, lionel Cohen they fused elements of electronic music with cinematic textures and out of the chaos, a unique collaboration was born.

Likened to artists like Massive Attack, Bjork and Portishead, JVMIE has since created an entire album which she's releasing single by single. She graced the cover of Blank Magazine’s February 2021 edition, the album was featured on ABC Nationals RN Drive and was reviewed from Australia to Europe and the USA. What began in a hotel room between QLD and LA took out the 2021 Hollywood Music In Media Award TM (HMMA) for Best Downbeat/Downtempo Song of The Year and was nominated in the Best Producer/Production category. Names in contention ranged from Taylor Swift, Haim, Travis Scott & Janelle Monae.

Her single, ”I’ll Give You the World" with NZ export Quix on Dim Mak was Track Of The Week on Apple Music & iTunes & "Hide" with legendary producer Darude took over Armada’s Spotify page, while their single “Timeless” became the name of his world tour.
Jamie has performed at festivals in the USA, UK & Australia, opening for the likes of Steve Aoki in Japan, Kelly Rowland and Salt n Pepa in Australia & Kaskade in Amsterdam. Despite the recent chaos, throughout Covid JVMIE performed every week in SE Queensland. Handpicked by world renowned DJ/Producer Groove Terminator (GT) she fronts a live electronic outfit at Brisbane’s hottest new venue, The Prince Consort and performs regularly around the state with her DJ.

Jamie’s music features in Film, TV and on Video Games. She was recently commissioned to compose the end credits song for an upcoming film and she just signed a deal with LA based licensing company, Sweet On Top. Her album “Over My Head” released on Universal Music/A List Record was licensed for Home & Away, the World Cup and TV shows around the world.
