REVIEWS

"...a collaboration between Naomi JanePARKER, and Nataan, a track that pulses with the tension of distance, misalignment, and the inevitable end of something once beloved. It’s a song about the conversations that repeat like a skipping record, the moments that linger long after they should have faded, and the pain of knowing that sometimes, closure isn’t found in an answer, but in the silence that follows."
C-Heads.com, 2025

"This track represents a compelling intersection of global talent, seamlessly blending elements of 80s nostalgia with modern production techniques. The result is a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly innovative."
Kaltblut Magazine, 2025

The level of musical genius given in this record, is beyond any description words can give, with a sound that leaves you speechless. The production brings an amazing retro 80’s feel with a fresh futuristic approach to make a sound packed with bright lights that make you dream , as the vocals deliver the writing with emotion and conviction, to make you feel every single word to the fullest. It not only shines in the sound but lyrically it’s well crafted, with nice depth in the verses, that serves up the big time chorus in a major way to make a song that doesn’t miss.
Global Money World, 2025

The collaboration between Naomi Jane, PARKER, and Nataan is nothing short of alchemical. Naomi’s mezzo-soprano vocals bring a haunting depth to the track, while PARKER’s surf-side rock edge injects infectious energy. Nataan’s production ties it all together, weaving in atmospheric effects and spatial dynamics that elevate the song to a cinematic level. Together, they’ve created a track that doesn’t just resonate—it reverberates.
Falt Magazine, 2025

PARKER’s surf-side rock edginess, “Hang Up, Move On” offers a memorable, innovative sound that’s dipped in old-school piquancy and highlighted by delicious nu-wave additives.
V13, 2025

Naomi Jane has teamed up with multi-award-winning artist PARKER—internationally recognized for his exceptional songwriting—and San Francisco-based producer Nataan, renowned for his extensive work with independent artists. Together, they have delivered the nostalgic pop anthem "Hang Up, Move On." The three artists first crossed paths at the renowned Songwriting Prodigy Camp in Washington State. Each musician brings a distinct sonic element, blending their styles to create something truly groundbreaking. The result? A never-before-heard soundscape that reinvigorates the music scene.
Escarlina, Too Much Love, 2025

"With a catalogue as stellar as Parker’s, it’s clear that’s just the beginning, so get to know a little bit more about the singer-songwriter with his single Sofa Bed above. You can thank us later. "
"Parker has had some big wins in his short career. In April he was awarded a Queensland Music Award for the Youth Category for his song ‘Sofa Bed’. This was quickly followed by taking out the win for the 2024 International Songwriting Competition Youth category. His latest single ‘Local Paradise’ which features many nods to local landmarks also hit 131,000 streams on Spotify."
Gold Coast Music Network, 2024

"The choice of a support band was a bit of a mystery until I arrived at the venue. The line-up (printed near the entrance) showed that 'Parker' would be opening for Ben.

A quick bit of research informed me PARKER was a Gold Coast-based performer who combines '80s vibes with infectious melodies topped off with a surf-rock feel. Tonight, PARKER would be performing as a duo. He handled vocals and guitar duties with Augi on the keyboard.

ARKER's song 'Local Paradise' was the standout moment for me, with the lyrics taking me back to the short period of time I had spent in Gold Coast suburb Palm Beach. Talk of the Maccas near 19th Avenue and the 765 bus route took me back to the time my flatmate pawned my Nirvana CDs while I was at work (too much information?).

The rest of his set delivers those 80s vibe, catchy lyrics and songs that showcases his undeniable talent and charisma. I look forward to hearing more from this up-and-coming artist."
