From a young age, Shanleigh was surrounded — and inspired — by the enchanting melodies of folk, country, and pop music—notably inspired by legendary artists such as Taylor Swift, Hozier, The Civil Wars & Kasey Chambers. Growing up in the picturesque town of Maleny, Shanleigh found solace and inspiration in the natural beauty surrounding her which came to influence the vivid imagery and storytelling nature of her lyrics.

Shanleigh's journey to acclaim began in 2023 when she emerged as the NAB Gympie Muster Junior Talent Search winner. This esteemed accolade marked the start of a remarkable series of achievements:
Shanleigh has played festival stages across Australia including, Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Monkerai Big Country Campout, and the Maleny Music Festival. Furthermore, her Spotify catalog has accrued over 100,000 streams across ten multifaceted single releases. Shanleigh’s self-written and directed film clip for her 2025 single "We're Not Friends" was broadcast on the televised music video channel, CMT Australia. And most recently, she opened the show for Fanny Lumsden’s 2026 tour at Brisbane’s iconic venue The Triffid.
