Shanleigh Rose is an accomplished young Singer-Songwriter from Maleny, Queensland, who has made significant strides in her career. In the past 18 months, she has developed into a songwriting powerhouse, with several major single releases drawing attention to this very humble artist. A captivating performer and storyteller, Shanleigh interweaves the sounds of folk, country and pop into her ever-relatable music. Her songs, drawing from both personal experiences and universal themes, are simultaneously an intimate, genuine, and memorable reflection of her soul.
Shanleigh began her 2024 journey with several significant achievements. Notably, she received the Tamworth Songwriter's Association (TSA) John P. Toomey Commemorative Award for her youth Songwriting and the Capitol Country Music Association (CCMA) Award for Junior Songwriter of the Year.
Shanleigh has set her sights high for a long and fruitful career and is stamping her name as a performer and songwriter in an ever-changing industry. The past 18 months have seen Shanleigh working alongside Country music veteran Col Finley, including signing with Music 2 Media Distribution to release four Singles, Music video marketing and promotional packages.
This grounded and passionate recording artist was inspired by a range of talented artists, including: Taylor Swift, Kasey Chambers, Ed Sheeran and Hozier to name a few. From an early age their story telling, imagery and melodies, influenced Shanleigh to craft her own contemporary fusion of country, pop and folk. Not only are her songs deeply personal, they are universally relatable, presenting a vibrant tapestry of sound that resonates with audiences of all kinds.
