Ash Sales is a looping artist who builds hypnotic soundscapes with just an acoustic guitar and a wild array of effects. Tuning to 432hz he creates a ride that slips between lush ambience and driving psychedelic trance beats that get crowds out of their heads and onto their feet. There is a raw magnetic force in his sound that pulls you in without warning. No lyrics needed here. Ash lets the melody and riffs do the talking telling stories that hit you right in the chest and pull you into another world.
Over 2024 and 2025 Ash released three singles with music videos and dropped his debut full length album Reflections in January 2025. It captures the full spectrum of his sound from drifting dream states to full blown dance floor eruptions. To back it up he hit the road for a summer tour across New Zealand playing to sweaty packed out rooms and open fields under the stars.
Ash has carved out a serious name for himself on the festival circuit too lighting up stages at Earth Beat, Arkadien and Hakea. He also supported international psych funk legends My Baby on their New Zealand tour and opened for New Zealand post rock heavyweights Jakob at the end of 2024.
