THE RORY PHILLIPS TRIO
Rory Phillips has been impressing audiences for years, making his way through solo shows and band stages alike as a talented singer/songwriter and guitar dynamo. At just 19, he’s already an officially endorsed artist for Achillies Amps, Cole Clark, and Buzz Box Guitars. A genre-hopping talent, Rory won the 2023 NSW Folk Federation Young Folk Artist of the Year award, became the youngest-ever member of iconic Aussie band The Bushwackers, and regularly tours on guitars/BVs for ARIA-winner Sara Storer. He’s also served as the Musician in Residence at the CMAA Academy of Country Music, with over a decade of festival stages under his belt.
But Rory’s heart beats to the blues. Now fronting The Rory Phillips Trio, his powerhouse blues cover band, Rory’s turning heads with scorching guitar riffs and vocals that hit straight to the soul. The trio have been making waves with appearances at the 2025 Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival and the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues (VIC), the 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival and Tumut's Blues, Brews & BBQs Festival (NSW), and Enlighten Festival 2026 (ACT).
