Dom Diaz is a funk & soul, reggae & hip-hop sandwich of style and energy who crafts music that blends the rhythm and the melody together like coconut and chocolate. Drawing inspiration directly from the gods of funk themselves, he has built a reputation for making people move and be moved. Whether he’s performing as a one-man groove army or with his band of spicy compadres, Dom Diaz, trumpet and mic in hand, will help you release a funk load of inhibitions.
Dom burst onto the scene with his electrifying debut single, "Look At Her Go," a high-energy anthem that celebrates fierce, authentic women who lift each other up. With beats that groove and lyrics that move, Dom's music is a shout-out to the queens who own their power. His follow-up track, "Breathe," dives deep into the soul, tackling the realness of mental health and the weight of life's chaos. Both tracks are snapshots of Dom's journey, from the wild ride of becoming a new dad to navigating the highs and lows of life’s most intense moments.
The Dom Diaz experience lives in three distinct forms: Solo, Band, and DJ.
Solo is a captivating one-man force de soul.
The Band is where Dom and his brothers and sisters step into a full-scale funk battle.
The DJ set is a hybrid live experience—blending trumpet, vocals, rap, and congas over African rhythms, house, and organic tribal textures.
Whether it’s his explosive Trumpet playing, Soulful voice, tantalising piano skills, or pulsating percussion, Dom and Band will light up the dance floor and bring unlimited energy to any stage!
