DUBKLAAT RELEASES ‘BURNING FIRE’ SINGLE
FEATURING NATTALI RIZE & ZUGGU DAN ON JAN 31
‘Burning Fire feat. Nattali Rize & Zuggu Dan’ is the first official single from DubKlaat aka Stephen Rev Maxwell after almost a decade of producing, performing live and recording with some of the world’s finest reggae and roots artists, out January 31 via Zojak World Wide.
Jamaican born, currently working in Australia, DubKlaat has produced and engineered the track along with playing keyboards, drums & bass; accompanied with stellar vocals from Jamaica’s Zuggu Dan and Australia’s Nattali Rize. DubKlaat, Zuggu & Nattali all met back in 2013 touring with Jimmy Cliff and worked on a project together called Rebel Love. DubKlaat has also worked with the likes of New Zealand’s Katchafire; Australia’s Zennith, Jelly Oshen & Deline Briscoe; worked with producer Seanizzle on 47th Floor Riddim album featuring Christopher Martin, Busy Signal, Mavado, Vybz Kartel and more.
Australia’s Nattali Rize has been on a non-stop international tour schedule since her solo project debuted out of Jamaica in 2015 with a collaboration EP alongside production duo 'Notis Heavy Weight Rockaz’ featuring a host of musicians including Zuggu Dan, Kabaka Pyramid, DubKlaat & many more. In 2017 she delivered her global charting debut full length album which included guest appearances from Julian Marley, Raging Fyah and other reggae luminaries. The singer/guitarist/songwriter is known for her conscious, hard hitting lyrics, reggae-influenced progressive pop / world beat & rock.
Jamaican musician and former member of Grammy Nominated Recording artiste Protoje's Indiggnation band, Zuggu Dan is also now venturing off with his solo career. In 2018 Zuggu Dan teamed up with producer Phillip McFarlane of Irie Yute records their amalgamation has produced his first single "Jungle". Zuggu Dan spends most of his time in the studio, currently working on his EP that is set to be released this year.
