At just 11 years old, Hunters passion for music, storytelling, and song writing is beyond his years, with Hunter recently releasing his debut single, "Who I Am", showcasing both his growing talent as a performer and his love for creating original music.
Inspired by Australian country artists such as Casey Barnes and Blake O'Connor, Hunter first discovered his love for performing through busking on the streets of Tamworth, Australia's country music capital.
While busking in Tamworth, Hunter was spotted by representatives from the Australian Bushmen's Campdraft and Rodeo Association (ABCRA) and invited to perform the Australian National Anthem at their National Finals. The performance was so well received that Hunter was invited back to sing again in 2026, an opportunity he considers as a tremendous honour and one he looks forward to each year.
His dedication and natural stage presence quickly caught attention, and in 2025 he was honoured with the prestigious Graham and Helen French Award for Singing at the Australian National Busking Championships in Cooma NSW.
Adding to his growing list of achievements, Hunter became the youngest graduate of the 2026 CMAA Junior Academy of Country Music, graduating at just 10 years of age. The experience further fuelled his ambition to pursue a career in country music while continuing to develop his song writing and performance skills.
Whether he's busking, performing on stage, writing songs, or singing in front of thousands at major events, Hunter's love for country music shines through every performance. With big dreams, a cheeky grin and a genuine connection with audiences, Hunter is a young artist with an exciting future ahead.
