:Irie Trees Bio:
Straight from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and since 2005, this reggae band has kept true to what Roots Reggae is all about: telling compelling real life struggle stories, and expressing them with consciousness, love, sincerity and freedom; accompanied by a well balanced perfomance by mixing upbeat and smooth reggae rhythms as their signature steady flow.
The band’s style has always been rooted on delivering original new roots style live performances throughout all kinds of venues in the island, and because of their billingual lyrical style (english and spanish) they have reached a broader audience of reggae fans in the Caribbean.
They have participated in large televised annual festivals like Palo en Vivo and Corona Sunsets multiple times. Opening for SOJA in Anfiteatro Tito Puente, and recently performed in the first Puerto Rico Reggae Fest 2022, and also represented their roots boricua style in the One Life to Live One Life to Love 2023 Fest in St. Croix, sharing the stage with renown international reggae artists.

Directamente desde la hermosa isla de Puerto Rico, y desde 2005, esta banda de reggae se ha mantenido fiel a lo que significa el Roots Reggae: contar historias convincentes de luchas de la vida real con base social y expresarlas con conciencia, amor, sinceridad y libertad; acompañado de una melodía bien equilibrada que mezcla ritmos de reggae alegres y suaves con su característico flujo constante.
El estilo de la banda siempre se ha basado en ofrecer presentaciones en vivo en todo tipo de lugares en la isla, y debido a su estilo lírico bilingüe (inglés y español) han llegado a una audiencia más amplia de fanáticos del reggae en el Caribe. Han participado en múltiples ocasiones en grandes festivales anuales televisados como Palo en Vivo y Corona Sunsets. Abrieron para la banda internacional SOJA en Anfiteatro Tito Puente y se presentó en el primer Puerto Rico Reggae Fest 2022. También representó sus raíces al estilo boricua en el One Life to Live One Life to Love 2023 Fest en St. Croix, compartiendo escenario con reconocidos internacionales. artistas de reggae (Kabaka Pyramid).
