:Irie Trees Bio:
Straight from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and since 2005, this reggae band has kept true to what Roots Reggae is all about: telling compelling real life struggle stories, and expressing them with consciousness, love, sincerity and freedom; accompanied by a well balanced perfomance by mixing upbeat and smooth reggae rhythms as their signature steady flow.
The band’s style has always been rooted on delivering original new roots style live performances throughout all kinds of venues in the island, and because of their billingual lyrical style (english and spanish) they have reached a broader audience of reggae fans in the Caribbean.
They have participated in large televised annual festivals like Palo en Vivo and Corona Sunsets multiple times. Opening for SOJA in Anfiteatro Tito Puente, and recently performed in the first Puerto Rico Reggae Fest 2022, and also represented their roots boricua style in the One Life to Live One Life to Love 2023 Fest in St. Croix, sharing the stage with renown international reggae artists.
In the next months of 2023 the band will steadly release their long life repertoire. Be sure to stay tuned!
