Joss Walsh is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from the Southern Highlands of NSW, blending traditional and pop country influence with heartfelt storytelling. Known for her raw and honest songwriting, Joss's performances feature her original tracks and captivating covers, showcasing her powerful voice and emotional depth.
Starting her musical journey as a vocalist at a young age, Joss began playing guitar at 10 and quickly honed her skills as a songwriter. Her music reflects personal experiences, triumphs, and challenges, creating a genuine connection with her audience.
Joss is a proud graduate of the CMAA Academy of Country Music Junior Class of 2024 and 2025. Joss had an unforgettable debut at the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival, where she performed 18 times across busking, showcases, and stages. This marked the beginning of her country music debut with her being booked to perform at an activation stage outside Accor Stadium Sydney during both Luke Combs' Sydney concerts.
Joss is a proud HighlandFM 107.1 Homegrown Artist and is a student of the Wingecarribee Vocal Muster Program. Joss enjoys that both these opportunities enable her to connect with, collaborate with and support other artists in her local area.
Joss has been in the recording studio this year and is excited to be releasing her original music early 2026. She has written many originals and has co-written with both Anthony Snape and Aleyce Simmonds whilst at the Academy of Country Music.
