Kim Imber is a singer/songwriter who has played in the underground music scene of Tasmania for nearly 20 years. He has been busy carving out his own niche, crafting his songs, developing his style as a musician and gaining confidence with his own uniqueness. In 2019, Kim's 5th album of original songs was nominated for both Best Album and Best Protest Song in the 2019 Australian Roots Music Awards. This 10 track album is called "CLIMAGEDDON". It helped him to earn a spot on the MusicTas stage at Falls Festival in Marion Bay of that year.
Kim Imber is a poet, musician, songwriter, performing artist and entertainer. His instruments of choice are acoustic guitar and harmonica.
As well as writing insightful lyrics, Imber uses rhythms that are geared to get your head nodding and your feet tapping. At his shows you may even be tempted to dance like nobody is watching!
Kim has played on many stages within Tasmania and along the east coast of mainland Australia.
