They know how to write great songs and so do King Canyon.
Jimmy Cupples (vox) and James Ryan (guitar) are the songwriting force that formed the band in 2020.
Their very first collaboration during lockdown was a thrilling and smooth process,
which paved the way for a whirlwind of songwriting sessions.
They quickly discovered an uncanny freedom to their approach, which allows them to explore different genres.
To date the band has released eight singles with their ninth track "Blacktop" being released on 15 December 2023.
Blacktop was produced, engineered and mixed by Grammy Award winning producer Nick DiDia (Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Powderfinger, Train) at his studio in northern NSW in September 2023.
The band's debut album is just around the corner.

Gympie Music Muster (QLD), Ravo Blues & Roots Festival (WA), The Point Live at Portsea (VIC),
Country Rocks Festival (NSW), and toured nationally with Ross Wilson's Cool World Festival.
