If you asked Majelen what her music sounds like, she might say it’s Tash Sultana meets Ed Sheeran with a pop-rock heartbeat—raw, rhythmic, and irresistibly melodic. Her songs weave acoustic storytelling with modern, radio-ready production: heartfelt vocals, infectious grooves, and road-worn stories shaped for wanderers and wild hearts.
Majelen’s debut single from her forthcoming album Red, “Ride,” lit the fuse for her new era—an energetic, sun-kissed love song inspired by one of her earliest dates with her now-wife. Recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely in her converted Toyota Coaster bus as she travelled Australia, Ride signalled a bold shift from her folk-roots beginnings toward an upbeat pop-rock sound.
Now four singles in, Majelen continues to build Red track by track, delivering anthems that channel freedom, romance, and the rush of open-road adventure—perfect for fans of G Flip, Fletcher, and Ed Sheeran.
A graduate of the Conservatorium of Music in jazz guitar, Majelen is renowned for her distinctive right-hand technique that fuses rhythm, percussion, and harmony into a one-woman acoustic full-band experience. Her evolving sound brings together that virtuosic craftsmanship with breezy pop hooks and rich storytelling—music that moves both body and heart.
In March 2025 she released her debut studio album Stuck With You, recorded at Abbey Road Studios and self-funded through her indie label Liondance Records. That record earned international attention, with multiple singles breaking into the iTunes Top 100 across Australia, the UK, Europe, Canada, and the US. Her efforts were recognised with nominations for Musician of the Year and Breakout Artist of the Year at the 2024 Gold Coast Music Awards.
Since launching the Red era, Majelen now has worldwide distribution The Orchard / Sony Music Group and publishing with Kobalt Music Publishing, further expanding her reach while staying true to her fiercely independent spirit. She has collaborated with Cole Clark Guitars on a signature model, is endorsed by Sheeran Loopers, QSC Audio, Kyser, K&K Sound, and Boss/Roland, and has represented Cole Clark at NAMM (USA).
Her touring resume spans the globe—sharing stages with Xavier Rudd and Kim Churchill, and performing at festivals including Blues on Broadbeach, Palm Creek Folk Festival, the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, Byron Bay Guitar Festival, and more.
2025 brings a packed calendar: the Acoustic Guitar Spectacular (AUS), Lindisfarne Festival (UK) and major East Coast Australian tour.
With more than 430,000 followers and over 7 million monthly views across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, Majelen’s online presence mirrors her live shows—authentic, generous, and electric. Whether it’s a sold-out theatre or a spontaneous performance under the stars, Majelen’s music is an open invitation to feel deeply, live boldly, and love freely.
