Genre: Blues-rooted soul rock
Moebius is a Byron Bay–based 4-piece delivering blues-soaked, soul-infused rock with a raw, modern edge. Stripped back—no horns, no excess—just groove, grit, and songs that hit where it matters.
Fronted by songwriter Sarah Grant, the project steps beyond the stagecraft of her long-running act Pink Zinc Presents and into something more intimate and deliberate. Where the covers band brings the party, Moebius brings the truth—story-driven songs shaped by lived experience, carried by a voice that moves between restraint and power with ease.
Their sound sits in the space between blues, soft rock, and roots, but refuses to stay neatly there—leaning into feel over formula. Think warm, rolling rhythms, expressive guitar work, and vocals that pull you in rather than shout for attention. It’s music built for both late-night listening and locked-in live rooms.
Drawing from the Northern Rivers’ deep well of musicianship, Moebius is a collective of players who know when to hold back and when to lift—creating a dynamic, breathing live show that evolves night to night.
They’ve steadily built momentum across the East Coast, appearing at events including Nimbin Roots Festival, Blues on Broadbeach, and Blues at The Northern, alongside performances at iconic venues like The Beach Hotel and The Rails in Byron Bay.
With their debut album currently in production for May 2026, Moebius is emerging as a quietly powerful force—a band that doesn’t chase attention, but lets the music speak.
