Funny, heart-breaking, uplifting - The Moody Cows perform beautifully crafted and delivered original songs, with gorgeous harmonies, guitar and ukulele. Earworms are aplenty in this collection of songs that crosses genres. With influences from Joni Mitchell to Amy Winehouse, echoes of the folk/soul/country greats inspire the rich vocal harmonies and stories in song that sisters Miranda Aitken and Sarah Butler have become known for. Performing through the Southwest of WA since 2018, including Nannup Music Festival in 2020, and Blues at Bridgetown 2021, together they have created the unique sound of The Moody Cows. Now performing as a fabulous 5 piece with Gary James (bass), Lindsay St Clair (sax & harmonica) and Marcus Tromp (drums).
