Pam Hata (Pamela Hata-McLeay) is an independent solo artist, singer-songwriter, and instrumentalist, weaving together the sounds of her home in Aotearoa New Zealand with the Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast regions of NSW, Australia. With infectious humor and energy, Pam blends RNB, roots, pop, and alternative folk to deliver soulful, uplifting performances steeped in culture.
Her original music speaks to her love of country, connecting with First Nations people, and spreading a message of peace, love, unity, and social justice. With 2 EPs and multiple singles released since 2021, Pam has toured internationally as a solo act, building on her established career in the covers scene with versatility ad zest for performance.

Business NSW awards held in the northern rivers 2025.
As a professional mentor, Pam
shares her industry expertise with new and emerging artists in workshops, guiding
them through the complexities of a music career utilising her cultural
tourism degree and a diploma in business specialising in marketing,
communications and contract law . She works with clients locally in
the Clarence Valley, as well as remotely for the current Beats
Australia intensive, supporting regional recipients in SA and NSW.
While building her business and mentoring, Pam continues to tour,
write, record, and release her own music, which explores themes of
cultural connection, country, and social justice. Her unique sound and
tireless work ethic make her a standout in the industry.
