Philip H. Bleek is a song-writer singer. Meaning the words you sing are more important then how loud you can sing or how many covers you can play. What is important is what you say and how you say it. He has been writing songs since he was 14 years old and if I was to mention how many he has written since then, it will be considered bragging. Lets just say he is working on his seventh album of all original material and his third book collection of lyrics.
He has been around Australia, Europe, America & Canada. Taking pictures and singing where and when ever he could. However playing sad songs solo with an acoustic guitar does not bring fame or fortune. Just brings more inspiration for more writing. More photographs, more melodies, more memories and of course more songs. After falling in love with the sound of a resonator guitar Philip got into alternate tunings to expand his musical repertoire. So when you see him perform live expect a bit of slide work to colour his songs, sang with passion and poise.
