Over the past two years, emerging artist Piper Butcher has played festivals including Americanafest, Dashville Skyline, Party in the Paddock, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, Airlie Beach Festival of Music and more. While her live accolades are only increasing, Piper’s music has been played on TV channels CMT and 9GO, as well as airing as a Top 24 finalist on Australian Idol- thus accumulating a large audience of every demographic. As well as these achievements, Piper holds the position of Ambassador for Variety The Children’s Charity - an organisation that is close to heart; due to her own experience of being born with a cleft palate, and receiving a Variety Heart Scholarship.
In 2021, Piper released her first EP “September”, with the outstanding success of #1 in the Alternative Album iTunes charts and #2 in the All-Genre Album iTunes charts. The EP came with the assurance and confidence that marked her as an impressive new artist with a long career in front. In the consecutive years, Piper released "Read Between the Lines" which is a fierce, upbeat track that set her apart from other new artists, as well as a strong anthem called, “Unconscious Mind”. The song debuted at #2 on the Singer Songwriter iTunes Chart, also debuting #1 AMRAP Regional Charts. Shortly after her time on Australian Idol, the year of 2024 saw Piper’s first single of Turn The Key spun on Triple J Program ‘TOPS’ ahead of its release. After advancing through the year on a 45 date tour, Piper introduced her most vulnerable story with ‘Through The Night”, which reached #16 on the U.S Apple Music Playlist ‘Country Wide’, asserting the growth and ability to reach audiences worldwide.
Most recently, in 2025, Piper Butcher embarked on her first national tour with Warner Music’s Brad Cox as his main support. Reaching regional communities across Australia, her band proved a powerful performance while debuting her newest singles ‘Start of Something’ and ‘Hard Love’, the former co-produced by Kasey Chambers and Brandon Dodd. But she couldn’t stop there…Piper supported Australian legends Killing Heidi through winning the Wild Turkey 101 Music Mentorship in collaboration with Universal Music Australia, just one day before she flew to Nashville for her very first time. Through her international ventures, Piper performed at The 5 Spot for The Aussie BBQ presented by Sounds Australia - crowning her with a wildly successful first ever Americanafest performance.
Finishing the year on a high, Piper returned to Australia and featured on ‘Air it Out’, the lead single from Wade Forster’s newest album ‘Gooseneck Party’ before appearing at Deni Ute Muster, Savannah in the Round and Strummingbird Festival to showcase the release. A final run on tour included collaborating yet again with Brad Cox conquering New Zealand, as well as performing at Airlie Beach Festival of Music and Woodford Folk festival.
Maintaining her stride, Piper returns in 2026 with great promise, having already headlined Americana in the Park at Toyota Park for Tamworth Country Music Festival, and debuting in Tasmania on the mainstage for Party in the Paddock (presented by Triple J)
