Over the past three years, emerging artist Piper Butcher has played festivals including Dashville Skyline, Thredbo Blues Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Moruya Blues & Roots Festival and West Best Bloc Fest in addition to being a Top 24 Finalist on Australian Idol. While her live accolades are only increasing, Piper’s music has been played on TV channels CMT (Foxtel) and 9GO- accumulating a large audience of every demographic. As well as these achievements, Piper has just secured the position of Ambassador for Operation Smile Australia- an organisation that is close to heart; due to her own experience of being born with a cleft palate. The passion and drive is evident in these few years of great success.

In 2021, Piper released her EP “September”, with the outstanding success of #1 in the Alternative Album iTunes charts and #2 in the All-Genre Album iTunes charts. The EP came with the assurance and confidence that marked her as an impressive new artist with a long career in front. Moving into 2022, Piper released "Read Between the Lines" which is a fierce, upbeat track that set her apart from other new artists. In December of that year, she delivered a strong anthem in her newest single, “Unconscious Mind”. The song debuted at #2 on the Singer Songwriter iTunes Charts and held a position in the charts for a consecutive few days following. Unconscious Mind also debuted at #1 AMRAP Regional Charts shortly after its release.

Jumping out of the gates in 2024, Piper most recently entered into the Bluesfest Busking Competition- where she came away as the only solo and female fronted Grand Finalist, which led to a set at Byron Bay Bluesfest 2024. Preparing to get back into the studio and release her first track of the year, you will surely be blown away by the maturity and diverse musicianship of her newest sonic outlook.
