SoSoon is a New York born emcee, producer, and educator. The moniker SoSoon, an acronym for Sound Of Something Out Of Nothing, is a direct reflection of New York's poor and working class residents, whose experiences played the most significant impact in the birth of Hip-Hop culture. As such, SoSoon's sound is rooted in 90s boom bap with hints of trap. The foundation of his songwriting combines witty lyricism, unique vocal cadence, thoughtful storytelling and versatile subject matter, which have drawn comparisons to early Childish Gambino, J. Cole, and Rapsody.
In 2022, SoSoon joined the

SoSoon has collaborated on tracks alongside Hip-Hop heavyweights like Rah Digga and Young Zee of The Outsidaz, as well as Ruste Juxx. His music has been featured on Sirius XM, where he also freestyled as a guest on Da Inphamus Amadeuz’s weekly show, The Punchline Academy. He’s also appeared on Grindmode Cypher twice, with each performance earning more than 30k views.
His 9th solo project Life Be Life'ing is slated to drop November 2024.
