Stellar Moon is Monique Le Lievre, a First Nations Nyikina woman from Boorroola (Derby), living on Rubibi Buru (Broome) in the Kimberley.

Stellar Moon tours Western Australia extensively and is branching out into East Coast shows. She released her debut album ‘Phases’ in March 2024, with one single sitting in AMRAP’s top 10 for 3 weeks and being added to many playlists and articles next to her idols.
Stellar Moon has played WA's major festivals such as Nannup Music Festival, the Bridgetown Blues and Ord Valley Muster and has supported Australian Music greats such as Christine Anu, Daryl Braithwaite and The Waifs
Stellar Moon is in the studio with album number 2 in 2026, the first released single 'Dark Night' gaining traction taking 6th place nationwide on the airplay charts and #2 for the regional.
As well as performing, as Stellar Moon, Monique mentors emerging artists, runs a choir and other music circles, she is a qualified teacher, life coach and a seasoned workshop facilitator. Monique has written music for WA Health and the Australian Electoral Commission and runs a recording studio with her partner Mick Stephens in Broome.
