THE DANDYS
Meanjin darlings, The Dandys, are making noise across the east coast and it's hard to ignore. The 4 piece alt-rock outfit are mesmerising audiences with their intense on stage antics, refreshing sound and a genuineness that is impossible not to feel a connection with.
The band flourished out of a uni project late 2021 and dove headfirst into the scene, gigging relentlessly and releasing their debut single, 'Good Life' before securing a position at the locally loved, 2021 Teneriffe Festival with the lineup boasting Concrete Surfers and Full Flower Moon Band.
The band went on to sell out their first single launch at The Blackbear Lodge and have been moving from strength to strength.
In 2022, They have have gone on to record their second single ‘Lemons’ with Brock Weston (BUGS) and proceeded to sell out the launch show for the song. The Dandys have since played alongside artists like The Dreggs and Peach Fur and have been invited back for the 2022 Teneriffe Festival. The band have joined Bakers Eddy on their Queensland tour and have a monumental back half of 2022 planned with a number of big shows, festivals and a third single on the way.
