Rialto Five are a Brisbane, QLD (AUS) band with a message to share through our funky tunes and basslines, soulful melodies, harmonies, and catchy lyrics.
The First Nations (New Zealand and Australia) and LGBTQIA+ lead band formed during the pandemic restrictions of 2020. Rialto Five adapted to worldly restrictions and launched their Friday Night Live Sessions performing regularly online to global audiences. Those sessions have now turned into releasing our own original music and we are now performing live at venues across Australia.
On Spotify alone our 4 officially released songs have accumulated over 54,000 streams worldwide and in May 2022 we supported
Kristal West (Granddaughter to the legendary Indigenous land rights activist, Dr Eddie Mabo, and Grand Finalist on The Voice 2014 ) to perform at the Dreamtime at the 'G (the AFL Sir Doug Nicholls Round) for the halftime show at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. At the Dreamtime at the 'G halftime show, we performed in front of 80,000 people in the stadium and the show was televised nationally on Channel 7.
