Anthony J Resta - Producer / Multi-Instrumentalist
Anthony J. Resta is a Composer / Producer/ Multi-Instrumentalist based in the Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles. He is renowned for embracing both modern and vintage methods in creating vast and unique soundscapes. Gold and Multi-Platinum awards for soundtrack work include the films Twilight , Scream 2, Scream 3 and Varsity Blues. Other highlights include producer of the year HMMA (2015 Hollywood music and media award), a score for Elton John’s “Border Song” with the Atlanta Symphony featuring Elton John, and scoring of Cuban percussion for Ken Burns’ Unforgettable Fire. Anthony has worked extensively with musicians in Hans Zimmer’s camp including “Game of Thrones” solo cellist Cameron Stone II.
Karyadi Sutedja - Mixing Engineer
Came to Boston in 1994 from Jakarta, Indonesia, to study at Berklee College of Music. majored in Music Production and Engineering. Graduated in 1997 with bachelor of music degree.
studied classical guitar since the age of 8, then studied jazz guitar and jazz theory while at Berklee.
I started internship at Prophet Sound in Stoughton MA in 1996, where I met Anthony.
Anthony hired me to work as his assistant at Bopnique in Chelmsford MA. I then work my way up over the years to become his recording engineer and mixer, and we have been working together side by side since, making non-generic music with local artists and artists from all around the world.
I consider myself an excellent recording engineer, and love experimenting with non traditional techniques. the production process that i’m most passionate in is mixing.
I’m the type of mixer that doesn’t rely on using templates, instead, I react to the production content and the song’s message as a starting point. This approach allows me to be more creative and has also resulted in new and useful discoveries along the way. In the end this method has helped me achieve a unique/non-generic sonic experience that clients seem to enjoy.
